I knew my quick weight loss would plateau at some point. My first week I lost 14.8 pounds or 6.71 kg. Pretty exciting I’d say. This week so far only 3,8 pounds / 1.72 kg. What I did notice on my first week was that I had some (amazing) bowel movements. This contributed to my weight loss. Today is an eating day, so I know tomorrow my weight will be up. I know this because I already know the calories I take in will be more than I burn. The reason I know that is that I cannot walk very far these days is that my left knee is in excruciating pain. Basically bone on bone. I went to a specialist (Orthotics) and I am waiting for an insert to straighten my leg. This will take up to three weeks, so mostly sitting around with an ice pack, trying to keep the swelling down. In thre meantime, I just order a knee brace from Amazon. Hoping this will allow me to move more.
Maybe also time to add some fibre to my eating day today. Or metamucil or similar. Maybe some probiotics as well.
I know there will be plateaus and there will maybe even be some weight gain once in a while, but as long as the trend is downward, I will hang in there. After all, it took a long time to gain this weight.
